About Studio Krach

Studio Krach is a furniture design company from Zurich that develops and produces radical furniture in the middle of the city. Its offering comprises furniture design and production with in-house joinery manufacturing; the products made are those of the Sihl collection: the Sihl Chair, Sihl Soft, Sihl Stool, and the Sihl Salon tables added in 2025. The series is characterized by a simple, structurally radical design with archetypal forms, in which form follows production while remaining functional, aesthetic and comfortable. The Sihl Chair is manufactured in the company's own operation in the joinery of Severin Meier, located in Zurich's District 4, a few hundred meters from the Sihl river, below the studio of Lukas Baumgartner. The material is wood. In addition, Studio Krach offers an AR feature for color preview, allowing the furniture to be virtually tested in one's own living space. In 2025, the company presented its designs at the Milano Design Week in collaboration with ZigZag Zurich, 4Spaces and Crimagno Earth.
