About SunOyster Systems

SunOyster Systems GmbH is a North German company headquartered in Halstenbek near Hamburg with a production facility on the GreenTEC Campus in Enge/Süderende (North Frisia). The start-up with 10 employees has been developing solar trackers and lightweight modules for photovoltaics since 2012. The product portfolio includes lightweight PV modules with a glass front and flexible lightweight modules with a polymer front for bonding onto roofs with limited load capacity, lightweight industrial halls and façades (typically max. 5 kg/m²) as well as the dual-axis solar trackers PVmover 8 and PVmover 18 for system sizes from 1.9 to 7.5 kWp. SunOyster installs PV systems in the B2B segment from 20 kWp, supplies components for self-installation and trains sales and installation partners. The SunOyster 16 carries the Solar Keymark certificate; there is a utility model and an international patent application for the lightweight module PVbondi®. Customers come from industry, the energy sector, agriculture (Agri-PV) and the public sector, including Siemens Energy, DB Energie, MT Aerospace, Munich Airport, EDP and Galp Energia.
