About tecmata
The tecmata GmbH was founded in 2007 in Grafrath and remains owner-managed and independent to this day. The company, with more than 40 employees, operates as a service provider in embedded engineering: it develops test strategies, test concepts and automated tests for embedded systems, builds hardware-in-the-loop test rigs (HIL/SIL) and supports customers through to certification of safety-relevant systems according to standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508. In the field of embedded software development, its work includes low-level drivers, protocol and fieldbus stacks (including Modbus/TCP, IO-Link, Profinet/PROFIsafe, EtherCAT/FSoE, CAN bus) as well as sensor and actuator control. In addition, tecmata offers standards-compliant embedded security concepts and automated validation according to ISO/SAE 21434, as well as its own test equipment such as an encoder simulator for safety-oriented encoder types. Customers come from the automation, automotive, medical technology and consumer sectors; operations are nationwide across Germany. The integrated management system is certified throughout according to ISO 9001.
