About tecnotron
tecnotron elektronik gmbh is an independent, family-owned E²MS service provider (Electronics Engineering and Manufacturing Services) based in Weißensberg on Lake Constance. The company develops electronic assemblies, devices and systems from concept to series maturity: hardware development, embedded software, FPGA firmware, mechanics and PCB layout are closely integrated with its own electronics manufacturing. Production is carried out on a contract basis on two SMD/THT assembly lines, including one line with 52,000 components/h, inline vapor phase soldering and inline 3D AOI; in addition, HDI circuit boards, vapor phase soldering, potting, varnishing, X-ray analysis and assembly of assemblies and devices are offered. Acceptance criteria follow IPC-A610 Class 2/3 and ECSS, with manufacturing partly performed in an ISO 6 cleanroom. Customers come from aerospace, defense, medical technology, industry, measurement and sensor technology, e-mobility, rail technology as well as communications and consumer electronics. Around 180 employees generate revenue of over EUR 31.79 million.

Processes and Technologies
SMD/THT Assembly
Assembly of circuit boards and HDI boards on two lines, from prototypes to large series.
Vapor Phase Soldering (ASSCON VP6000 Vacuum / VP2000 Inline)
Consistent soldering quality without temperature profile adjustment, for lead-free (RoHS) and leaded soldering.
Reflow Soldering (Rehm)
For assemblies with components not suitable for vapor phase soldering.
HDI Circuit Boards with Fine-Line Technology
Design and assembly of high-density circuit boards, including high-speed and high-power as well as flexible boards.
X-Ray Analysis
Optical inspection of non-visible solder joints on the assembly.
Automated Potting and Varnishing
Protection of electronic assemblies for demanding operating conditions.
Laser Marking
Serial number identification for traceability at batch level.
BGA Rework and Reballing
Component replacement to rescue components and assemblies.
Cleanroom Manufacturing ISO 6
Manufacturing of highly sensitive electronics under strictly controlled conditions.
Test Systems (tecTESTER, tecFPGA, tecTCL)
Electrical testing methods such as ICT, FPT, BST and functional tests up to vibration testing and environmental tests.
