About TECTUS

TECTUS Technology GmbH is a developer and supplier specialised in RFID technology, headquartered in Bergisch Gladbach with a technology and development site in Moers (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company develops RFID transponders, readers, reader modules, antennas as well as cards and labels in the LF, HF/NFC and UHF frequency ranges, complemented by the platform-independent software solution OPUSdrive for documentation and ERP integration. A core competence is the development of ATEX- and IECEx-certified RFID systems and components for hazardous areas, which are deployed worldwide by market leaders in the chemical and oil and gas industries. OEM products are manufactured in Germany and the EU with selected and certified partners; custom transponders are developed according to customer requirements, and many standard items are available from stock. The portfolio also includes personalisation and encoding of ISO cards and labels using processes such as offset printing, screen printing, ink jet, laser engraving and Thermo Rewrite. TECTUS delivers solutions for industry and logistics, agriculture, municipalities, chemicals, oil and gas as well as the public sector, and supports projects from feasibility studies through to system integration. The company's roots date back to 1989, when the first electronic immobiliser based on RFID was developed.
