TEGON GmbH & Co. KG, based in Sottrum (Lower Saxony), offers a modular enclosure system for electrical and automation engineering. Built on more than 30 years of experience in the industrial market, an enclosure system with over 50,000 variants was developed in 2020, which can be assembled into an individual standard solution using an online configurator. The frame modules of the enclosures are not welded but plugged together and screwed, which increases stability and assembly flexibility. The housings are made of sheet steel, tested to IP65 and designed for load capacities of up to 1000 kg. TEGON delivers enclosures according to customer specifications, including special dimensions, special colors, cutouts, internal fittings and pre-assembly, with delivery times of 2–5 days. The product range is to be expanded in the future to include terminal boxes and compact enclosures.

Quality & Certification
The enclosures of the FE-GON-XL, FE-GON-M and FE-GON-S product lines comply with EN 62208 (EU declaration of conformity, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU). The FE-GON-XL enclosure was tested by DEKRA for the IP65 degree of protection in accordance with IEC/EN 60529; its stability was additionally verified through earthquake simulation tests.
