About THELEICO

THELEICO Schleiftechnik is an independent, self-financed family company from Meschede in the Sauerland, in existence since 1880. Since 1924 the company has produced vitrified-bonded abrasive tools, and since 1935 additionally resin-bonded grinding wheels, grinding points, and cutting-off and rough-grinding discs. The product range is complemented by superabrasives with CBN and diamond grain as well as dressing tools. Production takes place on 10,000 m² of production space with CNC-controlled systems and presses of up to 3,000 tonnes of press force; around 250,000 abrasive tools are produced annually. The delivery range includes diameters from 3 to 1,346 mm and weights from 0.001 to 300 kg. Customers include the automotive industry, transmission and engine manufacturing, the springs industry, rolling mills, rail construction, foundries, turbines and aerospace, the energy sector, machine and tool engineering, as well as the wood, glass and plastics industries. The products are delivered to 42 countries.
