About us

Thiede Elektronik GmbH is a family-owned company based in Ampfing in Upper Bavaria. Founded in 1970, it has been manufacturing adapters for "End Of Line" test benches, high-voltage (HV) contact systems, complete systems and test cable harnesses for over four decades. The company serves renowned automotive and truck manufacturers as well as their strategic suppliers worldwide; the products are used in manually interlocked through fully automatic test benches and must sometimes withstand millions of test cycles. The value chain covers consulting and feasibility assessment, 3D design (CAD), 3D prototyping, and single-item and medium-volume production of 200–300 pieces in the company's own milling center. A key focus is the patented technology for tolerance compensation with small miniature test plugs, as well as high-current components and contact systems for electric vehicles between battery and motor. The portfolio is rounded off by quality assurance, database-based documentation, and maintenance and service.
