About Throm
Throm GmbH is a family company founded in 1935 by Eugen Throm, now managed in its fourth generation, headquartered in Büdingen (Central Hesse). The company operates as a stock-keeping wholesaler for rolled steel, stainless steel and aluminium, holding a stock of over 1000 tonnes at the Büdingen site, including bar steel profiles, tubes, hollow sections, beams (HEA/HEB/HEM/IPE/UPE), plates and special profiles. The trading business is complemented by in-house processing with saws, CNC drilling, welding to EN 1090-2, as well as blasting, priming, hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating; ready-to-assemble steel structures are delivered to DIN EN 1090 EXC2 with CE marking. In 2018, Throm Baustahl GmbH was carved out with a reinforcing steel bending operation in Bad Vilbel, which cuts and bends rebar B500B (Ø 8 to 28 mm) to size. Customers come from construction, timber construction, building materials trading, steel and metal construction, trades and industry in the Rhine-Main region and beyond. Deliveries are made with the company's own fleet, partly equipped with unloading cranes.
