About TicWave Solutions
TicWave Solutions GmbH was founded in December 2023 in Weinheim and develops and manufactures application-specific terahertz components and systems. The product family comprises portable, battery-operated THz cameras (TicCAM-1.1kpix, TicChop), compact terahertz sources with up to 20 mW output power at 420 GHz (TicSA-420G) and modular THz systems (TicKit-420G) for see-through imaging and real-time computed tomography. The technology is based on in-house developed terahertz integrated circuits in CMOS and BiCMOS silicon technology. The devices are used, among other things, for non-destructive material and structural testing, THz material characterization and spatial power sensing in the THz range. In addition to standard products, the company offers custom hardware and software solutions for research and industry. Target markets are research, industry, healthcare and non-destructive testing.
