Wooden natural pools with Carinthian quality standards
Timberra Holzsysteme GmbH, headquartered in Bad Lainach in the Upper Mölltal valley (Carinthia), manufactures natural pools under the TIMBERRA® brand made from solid timber of domestic silver fir. The basins are built using the patented dovetail joint system based on the single-material principle without artificial fasteners such as glue; depending on site access conditions, the modular wall elements are prefabricated at the factory, ready for delivery and installation. A patented mechanical-biological filtration system cleans the pool water without chlorine according to the principle of natural water purification. The wood comes from sustainable regional forestry and is cut in the company's own sawmill, Reiter Bioholz. In addition to natural pools, Timberra produces terrace decking, facades, fences, modular privacy screens and raised bed systems made from Tauern larch. Since 2009, the company has been developing sustainable concepts and technologies for natural pool construction together with research institutions; up to 40 pools are realized annually between February and November, also abroad.

Materials and manufacturing processes
Silver fir (solid wood)
Water-resistant solid wood without resin channels, traditionally used as water wood, for natural pool basins with natural sealing through swelling.
Tauern larch
Weather-resistant, resin-rich wood from high altitudes around the Grossglockner region for terrace decking, facades, fences, privacy screens and raised beds.
Larch
Domestic wood from the region, traditional base material for processing in the company's own sawmill.
