About holzgespür – Tischlerei Kasper GmbH
holzgespür is the brand of Tischlerei Kasper GmbH, a family-run solid wood workshop on the Middle Rhine in Rhens. The company manufactures custom-made dining tables, writing desks and benches from domestic, hand-selected hardwoods such as rüster (elm), walnut, oak, ash and cherry. The core of production is one-off custom manufacturing: planks are cut from a tree trunk selected by the customer via video message, glued, sanded and brushed, then oiled or lacquered and finished with a natural live edge or Swiss edge. Steel table legs complement the design. Via a 3D online configurator, customers choose dimensions, edge shape and surface treatment and are included in the entire manufacturing process through photos and videos. Sustainably sourced wood from domestic forests is delivered; personal delivery and assembly are carried out by the company's own team.
