About Tony Brändle AG
Tony Brändle AG is a Swiss family-owned company based and producing in Wängi (Thurgau), specialised in the construction of fire brigade, ambulance and police vehicles as well as special-purpose vehicles. The portfolio comprises tank fire appliances, rescue and pioneer vehicles, hose-laying vehicles, duty and first-response vehicles, breathing apparatus and crew transport vehicles, trailers, lifting platforms and WELAB concepts. The bodies are manufactured in the company's own workshop as coachbuilding and interior fitting work, among others on Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Iveco chassis; certified conversion on Mercedes-Benz vans is covered by the VanPartner programme. In-house developments such as the electronically controlled foam proportioning system FOA-M-IX (the basis of the CAFS system) as well as PE fire-water tanks complement the vehicle construction. Services also include pump and performance testing on a test bench in Wängi, fire brigade equipment outfitting and a 24/7 duty service. Customers are fire brigades, emergency services, police, civil defence, the military and industrial fire brigades in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany; since 2000 ambulance vehicle construction has been part of the core business.
