About Townsend Well Control

Townsend Well Control (TWC) is a licensed OEM manufacturer and service provider of critical, API-certified well-control equipment for the oil and gas industry, founded in 2013. The portfolio includes ram and annular BOPs (7" to 13" bores), shear ram BOPs, modular control systems such as hydraulic power units and frac stack control panels, as well as drilling equipment such as spools, double studded adapters, flanges and manifolds. Production uses NACE-compliant forged bodies; in addition, TWC offers machining and repair on horizontal and vertical lathes as well as milling and machining centers up to 24" diameter. Services include the body swap program (replacement of complete BOP bodies in under two weeks), recertification in accordance with API 16-AR and Spec 53, weld repair of frac equipment (4130, 316 SS, 625 Inconel), and pressure, function and hydrostatic testing. As part of the TKG Energy Solutions Group, TWC maintains production and warehouse sites in Texas and Wyoming as well as a global network of authorized repair facilities, including in Germany, Australia, Egypt and the UAE.
