TRANSTEC GmbH, based in Hilden, has been developing and manufacturing electrotechnical components with a focus on toroidal transformers since 1991. The portfolio includes open, center-hole-potted and fully potted-in-cup toroidal safety transformers in accordance with EN 61558, single-phase transformers of the STM series (10 to 1,600 VA), fully potted transformers for DIN rail (PSS, 10 to 100 VA), as well as other transformers in the power range from 1 VA to 1,000 kVA including three-phase, control, autotransformer, isolation, variable and high-voltage transformers up to 100 kV. The range is complemented by rectifier transformers/power supplies, switched-mode power supplies, noise filter chokes, inrush current limiters and mounting accessories. Manufacturing is customer-specific, from concept creation through development to series production, with copper windings, plastic potting and mounting kits consisting of metal and rubber washers. Customer industries include industrial applications, luminaires and lighting technology, power supply technology, medical technology, solar technology and audio technology. The company sells standard products through its own online shop trafoshop24.de.
