About Trumpler

Trumpler is a family-owned company founded in 1868 with over 150 years of experience in the development and production of chemical auxiliaries and additives for the leather industry. The product range includes auxiliaries for all process stages of the wet-end from soaking to tanning, products for retanning and dyeing, as well as finishing products, which were added to the portfolio in 2019 through the integration of LANGRO-CHEMIE. In addition, the company offers oxidized vegetable oils under the OELBASE® brand, used among other things as chain oils, wood-working and formwork oils, release agents and lubricating greases. Dyestuffs and synthetic dyes are developed and synthesized in-house, among others at TRUMPLER Española, ROBAMA and TNM in China. The company places emphasis on sustainable raw material sourcing; the share of renewable or recycled raw materials is over 50%. Custom formulations and application analyses complement the offering.
