Uhlmann Solarelectronic GmbH is a German manufacturer of charge controllers for solar systems and off-grid power supply systems. The company specialises in the upper power range and customised special designs; in total, more than 100,000 charge controllers have been produced to date, controlling around 10 megawatts of power combined. The products are used, among other things, in telecommunications systems, broadcast/TV converters, self-sufficient measuring systems and for household power supply; a solar-lit cycle path equipped with 34 radio-networked lights has also been realised. Manufacturing has existed for over 30 years and is geared towards durable and service-friendly devices; manuals and a repair service are offered for all charge controllers. The product range is complemented by an extensive PV accessories range; distribution is via dealers, and the products are in use worldwide.
