About VinylSavor
VinylSavor is the business of Thomas Mayer in Lindau on Lake Constance, which manufactures audio electronics on a build-to-order basis. The portfolio includes tube power amplifiers and mono blocks (e.g. 300B and 845 mono blocks), preamplifiers and line stages, phono stages, and DACs with tube rectification and transformer-coupled outputs. In addition to electronics manufacturing, ELROG electron tubes such as directly heated triodes (e.g. ER801A, ER845, ER887) and rectifier tubes are produced. Chassis are milled from solid metal, power amplifiers receive wooden frames; output transformers, chokes and interstage transformers are partly wound in silver. Each unit is built individually to order, fitted with new, tested and matched tubes, and shipped with a warranty. Shipping is worldwide; the company operates in the high-end tube audio industry.
