About voidsy

voidsy gmbh, based in Wels (Austria), develops and manufactures systems for non-destructive material and component testing based on active thermography. The patented V-ROX product family comprises four system variants ranging from efficient 2D inspection to thermographic 3D reconstruction with assistance functions, and is designed for use in real production and maintenance environments. The contactless imaging inspection enables large-area testing without coupling media, determines absolute defect sizes, and thus, according to the company, replaces secondary testing methods for defect quantification. The hardware systems are complemented by the modular analysis platform voidsy Inspect for visualization, 3D defect analysis and documentation. Target industries are safety-critical applications such as aerospace, wind energy (rotor blades and structural components), fiber composites and automotive. The systems are based on more than 20 years of research in the field of active thermography.
