About VOLTA

VOLTA develops and manufactures a portable espresso machine for use on the go – on film sets, while hiking or on construction sites. The machine runs on battery power and offers pressure profiling up to 14 bar (Flat, Lever, Custom), PID-controlled temperature maintenance from 85.0 to 99.0 °C with ±0.5 °C tolerance, and a 49 mm portafilter basket. The power concept is modular: natively, a B-mount and a DC port are built in; via adapters, V-mount, A-mount and power tool batteries can also be used. Operation on the device itself remains deliberately simple; full control including profiles, temperatures and shot logs runs via an app; an optional Advanced UI button on a modular port is planned. The product is still in the prototype and testing phase (Built in Public); a limited Founders Edition is scheduled for delivery in autumn 2026. VOLTA places great value on repairability: standard screws, published service guides and freely available spare parts for every component. Development and production take place in Austria.
