About VRaktion

VRaktion UG, based in Leipzig, was a development service provider for portable electronics (wearables), smart textiles and solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The interdisciplinary team of specialists in user experience design, digital products, embedded computing as well as product management and marketing supported companies in the digitalization of processes and products. The focus was typically on sensor technology, real-time data visualization and augmented reality for applications in the fields of occupational safety, environment and biotechnology. Based on the in-house developed VRaktion Wearable Framework, customized solutions were created, such as the products Elten Smartastic Distance, Elten Smartastic PTCS and the multisensor wearable Sensi-1 for air quality. The company, founded in 2016 by Bernhard Schipper and Karl-Ludwig Kunze, was a member of the SenSa network (Sensorik Sachsen) and is currently in liquidation.
