WAGENER & CO. GmbH is an owner-managed full-service contract manufacturer for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food and beverages based in Lengerich, Westphalia. The family-owned company develops, produces, fills, assembles and distributes hygiene and healthcare products in liquid, semi-solid and solid form – including liquids, emulsions, suspensions, gels, ointments, creams, pastes, powders, talcum and suppositories. Production is GMP-compliant in a 3-shift system with up to 21 shifts per week and up to 30 tonnes per shift; batch sizes range up to 10,000 litres for liquids and up to 6,000 litres for semi-solid emulsions and pastes. Products are filled into bottles, jars, tubes, dispensers, sealed pouches and suppositories made of glass, plastic, aluminium, tinplate and composite materials. Around 200 employees generate annual revenue of €40–45 million. Production, laboratory, warehouse and logistics are located at two sites in Lengerich under one quality assurance system.
