wefa (Westdeutsche Farben GmbH), based in Essen, develops, produces and distributes water-thinnable 2-component coating systems for the highest demands in surface protection and design. The portfolio includes primers, fillers, base coats, textured coatings, topcoats and clear coats, which can be combined with one another and are available from silk matt to high gloss in virtually any color. The systems are suitable for metals, wood and synthetic materials and offer corrosion protection, graffiti protection, UV protection, chemical resistance as well as color and gloss stability even under mechanical stress. Development, production, sales and quality management are bundled at the Essen location; the company is run by the third generation. The coating systems meet strict environmental requirements and are approved in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and other countries.
