Weichsel GmbH has been active in handling technology for sheets of glass, metal and plastics as well as complete window and door elements since 1990. The company from Witten offers tailor-made complete solutions in the form of overhead bridge cranes, slewing jib cranes or mobile cranes with which customers can lift and move large and heavy glass panes. The range of services includes consulting and needs assessment, sales of complete systems and individual solutions, modifications to existing crane systems including updated crane documentation, assembly, maintenance and service as well as repairs with its own service vehicles. In addition, Weichsel operates as a rental station for battery-powered dual-circuit glass handling systems from 300 to 1050 kg and carries out the UVV inspections of vacuum lifting devices and crane systems required by the employers' liability insurance association, with an inspection report. Customers include renowned insulating glass manufacturers, window producers and metal fabricators in Germany and the Benelux region.
