About WELTEC BIOPOWER
WELTEC BIOPOWER GmbH is a plant manufacturer founded in 2001 and based in Vechta, specialising in biogas and biomethane plants. The company covers the entire value chain: from consulting, plant conception and permitting planning under BImSchG and WHG, through EPC solutions with procurement, construction and commissioning, to training, maintenance and repowering. The plants are predominantly made of stainless steel and digest more than 400 proven substrates – from slurry, manure and energy crops to biowaste, food residues and sewage sludge, up to industrial residuals such as brewers' grains, stillage and glycerine. The biogas produced is converted into electricity in a CHP unit or upgraded to biomethane of natural gas quality; with WELTEC BLUE WATER the company also offers a digestate treatment and nutrient separation plant, and with WELTEC CONTROL a web-based plant control software. More than 400 realised projects in 27 countries on five continents demonstrate the international orientation; customers come from agriculture, industry, waste and wastewater management as well as from the investor community.

Materials & Processes
Stainless steel
Consistent use of stainless steel technology for digesters, pre-digester and digestate tanks guarantees flexible substrate feeding, fast assembly and high quality standards regardless of location.
Cattle slurry
Classic biogas feedstock for agricultural plants, with simultaneous recovery of nutrient-rich digestate as fertiliser.
Cattle manure / pig manure
Solid manures are prepared and continuously fed into the stainless steel digester.
Poultry manure / dried poultry manure
Poultry manure is successfully used on an industrial scale as a substrate in biomethane plants.
Renewable raw material silages (maize, whole crop, grass, cereals)
Energy crops with high gas yields for plannable returns and additional agricultural value creation.
Biowaste, food residues & food waste
Organic waste from municipalities, gastronomy and industry is digested into biogas and high-quality digestate.
Sewage sludge
Digester tower optimisation, co-digestion and sewage gas plants for municipal and industrial wastewater operators.
Brewers' grains, stillage & glycerine
Industrial production residues from brewing and whisky production as energy sources for biogas plants.
