About WEPTECH
WEPTECH is an E²MS service company specialized in wireless technologies for the development and manufacturing of electronic modules and systems. As an ODM and OEM, the company develops and manufactures devices and modules for globally active companies in the Smart Metering, industrial electronics, building technology, medical technology, avionics and machine vision sectors. Its range of services includes hardware and software development, antenna and enclosure development, module manufacturing as well as testing and assembly, including the development of custom test systems. Production and inspection are carried out strictly in accordance with IPC guidelines on 3,500 m² of manufacturing space in Landau in der Pfalz. Core competencies lie in Smart Metering and in connectivity within the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 via wireless protocols such as wireless M-Bus with OMS, Thread, NB-IoT and mioty®. In December 2018, WEPTECH was the first company in Germany to be approved by the BSI for the manufacture of Smart Meter Gateways with Protection Profile (Common Criteria EAL4+).
