Werap Group is a Swiss EMS provider with manufacturing and engineering at six locations in Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia. The team in Bubikon works across the four technology areas of Electronics, Inductives, Cabling and Box Build, and manufactures custom inductive components such as air-core and body coils, transformers, self-bonded coils and chokes, cable assemblies from flat ribbon to coaxial cables, and electronic assemblies up to system level. Electronics manufacturing comprises automated SMT and THT placement, various soldering processes, integrated test methods and coating supported by AOI, ICT and functional testing. In the Box Build area, PCBAs, backplanes, touch display systems, mechatronic assemblies with plastic and metal housings, and electropneumatic integration are combined into tested modules and complete systems. Werap supports customers across the entire life cycle – from requirements analysis and concept through prototyping, process development, ramp-up and series production to after-sales services, maintenance, repair and recycling. The group operates as a local4local production network with a best-cost-country approach in medical technology, industrial electronics, control technology, renewable energies, and defense and aerospace engineering.
