Westerkamp GmbH is a long-established specialist store for home and garden in Stemwede-Levern with a history spanning more than 100 years. The range includes more than 10,000 items, including electrical and plumbing installation materials, tools, garden equipment, electrical appliances, paints, fittings and household goods. In addition to its retail store, the company offers trade services in building technology: electrical installation, plumbing installation and heating construction including heat pump and geothermal technology, all from a single source from planning to execution. The service offering also includes delivery and installation service, repairs of household appliances, spare parts supply, sharpening service, locksmith service, E-Check and maintenance. Managing Director Holger Felber heads the Sales division, while master electrician and plumber Christian Nobbe heads the Craft/Field Service division.

History
- 1911
Wilhelm Westerkamp opened the store on 1 June as a cigar factory with retail; his brother Carl ran a tobacco wholesale business on the premises.
- 1951
Renamed on 1 August to W. Westerkamp und Co.; Wilhelm Westerkamp junior brought his brother Otto in as a partner.
- 1957
Otto Westerkamp senior took over the store; significant expansion of the range, including hardware, construction fittings, appliances, glass and porcelain.
- 1973
Master electrician Otto Westerkamp junior took over the business as a lessee.
- 1975
Modernization: electrical trade and accessories for electrical and plumbing installations added to the range, groceries discontinued.
- 2001
Handover on 1 August to Holger Felber and Christian Nobbe.
