About Argen Audio
Argen Audio is the brand of Weuffen GmbH & Co. KG, based in Wangen im Allgäu (Neuravensburg district), southern Germany. The company develops and manufactures high-quality, handcrafted loudspeakers whose design is inspired by nature. All of the electronics – an integrated multi-channel amplifier with powerful signal processing – are developed in-house; a modular hardware platform allows combinations depending on channel count and power requirements. In addition to the electronics, the company uses its own acoustic simulation for the further development of the loudspeaker systems. The materials used are premium wood, selected patterned natural stone, brushed or polished metal and semi-transparent glass; all surfaces receive a glossy finish. Production is done by hand; on request, the company also offers custom designs (bespoke design). The name derives from the river Argen, which flows between the Eistobel gorge and Lake Constance.
