Wiesemann & Theis GmbH (W&T) has been developing and producing electronic hardware for industry, office and IT in Wuppertal since 1979. The portfolio includes Web-IO components, network technology, edge computing, IT security solutions, serial/USB-to-Ethernet products and serial interfaces. In addition to distributing its own products, the company offers services: hardware development from circuit design through PCB design to firmware, IoT software development with protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT and REST, EMS services with SMD and manual PCB assembly for prototypes as well as small and medium series, and fulfillment with warehousing, picking and shipping. SMD production is carried out on a MYCRONIC production system with jet printing (max. panel size 44 x 35 cm, components from 0201) and an energy-efficient vapor phase soldering oven; every PCB undergoes optical and electronic inspection as well as unit-level testing. Customers come from automation technology, building technology, electrical engineering, retail, as well as office and IT.

Every PCB is tested according to customer-specific test criteria; W&T builds individual test systems with unit-level testing as well as optical and electronic inspection. In-house products carry a five-year warranty beyond the statutory warranty period.

Founding of W&T. From a hobbyist workshop, the company developed within a few years into a provider of network, sensor and interface technology.
