About Wifx
Wifx is a network specialist founded in 2005 in Yverdon-les-Bains, headquartered in the Y-PARC technology park. The company offers Internet access (fibre, xDSL, 4G/5G), VoIP and mobile telephony, TV, managed networks, VPN, hotspots as well as microwave point-to-point links. In addition to its telecom services, the subsidiary Wifx Data Center SA operates a colocation and housing data center with up to 22 kW per rack, N+1 redundancy and a stated availability level of 99.982 percent. Since 2016, Wifx has also developed and manufactured LoRaWAN gateways in Switzerland (including the Wifx L1) for telemetry, monitoring and automation in cities, rural areas and industrial environments.
