Witt Handelsvertretung GmbH, based in Schönefeld (Waltersdorf district) near Berlin, is the importer and distribution partner for the granulated sulphur fertiliser SULGRAN PLUS®. The product consists of 90 % elemental sulphur and approx. 10 % bentonite and is supplied in 1,000-kg packaging units. It is intended for fertilising sulphur-loving plants on arable land and grassland as well as in hop, vegetable, vine and fruit cultivation, and is suitable for use on its own or in bulk blending with conventional standard fertilisers. With a guaranteed 90 % granulometry in the 2-6 mm range, the product blends well; spreading data for standard spreaders (ZATS/ZAMU, e.g. Amazone) are available. The dispersed sulphur is continuously converted into plant-available sulphate through biological oxidation in the soil. In addition, the variant SULGRAN PLUS® with BOR (approx. 77-80 % sulphur, 12-14 % disodium tetraborate pentahydrate, bentonite) is offered.
