About wodtke
wodtke GmbH, based in Tübingen-Hirschau, develops and sells wood-burning stoves for logs, pellet stoves and electric heating systems, including infrared radiant heaters, electric fireplaces and wall-mounted convector heaters. The company is regarded as a pioneer of residential pellet stove technology in Europe; the first development idea in this field dates back to 1989. The products are characterised by room-air-independent operating technology, water-jacketed variants for connection to central heating systems, HiClean filter technology for emission reduction and WLAN control via the my.wodtke app. In addition to the fireplaces, wodtke offers differential pressure controllers (DS01 L/M) as certified safety devices, technical accessories and service products. The products are sold through a network of dealers and wholesalers in Germany and Austria, complemented by a network of service experts from the chimney sweep trade (UTE) for cleaning and maintenance. At the Tübingen-Hirschau site, the company operates the Feuerforum showroom, its own stove technology testing laboratory and a spare parts warehouse.

wodtke operates its own testing laboratory for stove technology at the Tübingen-Hirschau site; products are tested in accordance with EN 16510, EN 13240, EN 13229, EN 12815 and the 1st BImSchV. The ivo.tec water+ pellet stove was awarded test winner by Stiftung Warentest with an efficiency grade of 1.0 (test 11/2011).
