WORTMANN AG is an independent, medium-sized family company headquartered in Hüllhorst (North Rhine-Westphalia) that has been active in the field of information technology since 1986. Under its own brand TERRA, the company produces and distributes tablets, notebooks, PCs, all-in-ones, workstations, thin clients, servers, storage systems and LCDs. The systems are predominantly assembled in Germany, in the company's own production facilities at its headquarters in Hüllhorst as well as in Leipzig; depending on product type and degree of manufacturing, monitored contract manufacturers in Asia are also used. As a manufacturer, distributor and cloud service provider, the company serves more than 16,000 specialist retailers and system houses in Europe with around 800 employees. With TERRA CLOUD, WORTMANN AG operates its own data centers in Hüllhorst, Düsseldorf and Switzerland, offering hosting, housing, IaaS, SaaS, backup and storage. The production and service portfolio is complemented by BTO/CTO customizing, express production within 24 hours, a Europe-wide service network, industrial solutions as well as financing models such as leasing, rental and rent-to-own.
