About wupperchair

wupperchair is an office furniture manufacturer based in Wuppertal that produces ergonomic office chairs in its own chair manufactory. The product range includes the swivel chair models MUVBACK with a two-part, movable backrest, ONEBACK with a bi-elastic plastic back shell, NETBACK with a translucent mesh backrest, as well as the visitor chair VISITOR as a cantilever or with a four-star base. All chairs are offered with individual configuration options and are assembled in-house in Wuppertal, with components sourced predominantly from Germany and the EU. The MUVBACK backrest is mounted on elastomeric spring elements and enables three-dimensional freedom of movement; the concept is based on the patent by Professor Matthias Brüning, which has been further developed over more than 40 years of market experience. The materials used include bi-elastic plastics, mesh fabrics and upholstery fabrics from Camira, which consist largely of recyclable materials. Sales are handled via specialist retail, which is supported with spare parts stocking, service, demonstration chairs and marketing assistance.
