About X-CAM®
X-CAM® GmbH from Kall in the Eifel region is a timber framing center specializing in the processing of BauBuche. With one of Germany's largest timber framing facilities, a Hundegger K2-Industry 1300, the company produces precision-fit, ready-to-assemble timber components with lengths up to 32 m, widths up to 130 cm and heights up to 45 cm. In addition to contract timber framing, the service portfolio includes consulting with feasibility checks and quantity calculations, fabrication of steel connections, protective coating, pre-assembly, and transport-ready packaging with moisture protection. Around 4,000 m³ of wood is processed annually, of which 1,000 m³ is BauBuche; in addition, more than 3,000 m³ of spruce is machined. Customers are carpentry firms and engineered timber construction companies, including DERIX, Züblin Timber and Rollingertec; as a premium partner of Pollmeier, X-CAM® processes their BauBuche.
