X-DATA AG, headquartered in Turbenthal with a branch office in Zofingen, is a CAM service provider and Mastercam reseller in Switzerland specialized in machining production. The 16-person team offers CAM software, individually developed post processors (ZERO CHANGE quality label), DNC data transfer and machine networking with products from CIMCO and MOXA, as well as simulation and optimization directly from NC code with Vericut. In addition, the company provides telephone and remote support, system maintenance, data migration, programming assistance, and a broad training offering in its own training centers. More than 700 customers from CNC manufacturing, mechanical engineering, medical technology and precision mechanics rely on the solutions, which cover around 3,500 supported CAM users and 2,000 Mastercam installations. The experience from over 2,500 developed post processors for milling and turning machine controls flows into every customer delivery. The company was formed in 2007 from the merger of x-work and ps-data, which imported Mastercam into Switzerland in 1988 as the first company to do so.
