About xCave Technology

xCave Technology GmbH, based in Gerlingen near Stuttgart, develops and integrates multiviewer display and CAVE systems for co-located collaborative 3D/VR. The identSystem with the company's own identLED display shows every viewer simultaneously the full 3D resolution of their individual perspective, without the need for isolating VR headsets. Delivery is provided as integrated multiviewer systems in furniture enclosures, as table multiviewer systems, and as professional CAVE systems with screens on wall, ceiling and floor. In addition to hardware, software integration with common 3D visualization software, custom adaptation of existing 3D systems, and consulting in the field of LED technology are offered. The technical development is based on over 15 years of experience – from monochrome autostereoscopic displays through LCOS and OLED to current LED displays with single-RGB LEDs. Customers include research institutions, R&D departments, and high-tech industries, including Fraunhofer IAO, with whom the CoLEDWall was developed in 2021.
