About WAIN
Xiamen Wain Electrical Co., Ltd. (WAIN) was founded in 2005 and develops and manufactures heavy-duty connectors, circular connectors, PCB connectors, contacts, cable glands, crimp tools and integrated cable harness solutions. The range comprises approximately 38,000 product variants with around 72–75% standard products and 25–28% custom solutions. Manufacturing at the headquarters in Xiamen (Fujian, China) on 70,000 m² covers the entire process: toolmaking, injection molding, stamping, die casting, machining, painting, electroplating and final assembly, complemented by automated testing equipment. More than 99% of components are manufactured in-house. The products are designed to meet requirements such as data transmission rates, EMC, sealing (including IP65/IP67/IP68), chemical resistance and temperature, pressure and vibration resistance. WAIN supplies more than 18,000 customers in industries such as industrial automation, rail, wind energy, e-mobility, construction machinery and plastics machinery manufacturing, and has been listed with EUROMAP as a recommended supplier (EU12) since 2015; long-standing partnerships exist, among others, with ABB, Siemens and Schneider.
