About XPENG
XPENG Inc. was founded in 2014 by Xia Heng and He Tao in Guangzhou (China) and, as a physical AI company, develops electric vehicles, RS Robotaxi vehicles, the humanoid robot IRON and flying cars under the ARIDGE brand. Within the group, AI cars are produced in large series; the front and rear sections of the vehicles are manufactured by gigacasting as single aluminium cast parts. The group operates six factories, including the world's first series-production factory for flying cars with a planned annual capacity of 10,000 units and 120,000 m² of building area. For the European market, the models G6 and G9 have been assembled at Magna Steyr in Graz using the SKD process since September 2025. The German branch in Munich (XPeng Motors (Germany) GmbH) handles sales and service; market entry in Germany took place in 2024 with the P7, G9 and G6. The dealer network in Germany comprises 50 locations; worldwide, XPENG supplies 79 countries and regions.

Materials & Manufacturing Processes
Aluminium
Large front and rear sections of the vehicles are manufactured by gigacasting as single-piece aluminium cast components, which improves strength and weight optimization.
Automotive-Grade Chip Production (Turing AI Chip)
The production process of the in-house 750-TOPS chip complies with the IATF-16949 requirements, with ASIL-B certification and AEC-Q100 testing.
