Industrial service provider and operator of the Knapsack Chemical Park
Yncoris GmbH & Co. KG is an industrial service provider based in the Knapsack district of Hürth and operates the Knapsack Chemical Park. The company was created in 1998 through the spin-off of corporate divisions of Hoechst AG and traded under the name InfraServ GmbH & Co. Knapsack KG until 2019. Its service portfolio covers four areas for the entire life cycle of chemical plants: maintaining (maintenance, turnarounds), operating (infrastructure services, HSE management, supply and disposal), planning (concepts and consulting, project and site engineering, authority management) and building (construction, GDK plant construction, process technology with process analytics and automation technology). For the manufacturing companies at the site, Yncoris supplies electricity, gases and liquids via a pipeline system, operates wastewater treatment through Abwasser-Gesellschaft Knapsack GmbH and logistics services through KCG Knapsack Cargo GmbH with up to 50,000 containers per year. In addition, the company offers some of its services regionally and supraregionally throughout Germany, including in international plant construction. Partners in the chemical park include Celanese, LyondellBasell, Clariant, Vinnolit, CABB and Nippon Gases Deutschland.
