Zingerle Group AG is a family-owned manufacturer of mobile event equipment headquartered in Natz-Schabs (South Tyrol, Italy). The company produces folding pavilions (Mastertent, Ecotent brands), inflatable tents (Aerise) and beer tent furniture (RUKU1952) entirely in-house. At the Italian headquarters, all aluminium structures for folding pavilions as well as the metal underframes for tables and benches are produced on 7,000 m²; the second production site in Odorheiu Secuiesc (Romania) comprises a sewing shop, printing works and woodworking shop with joinery, where tent roofs are custom-cut and printed, and wooden boards for tables and benches are treated with UV varnishes. Final assembly and worldwide shipping take place in Italy. Materials used are aluminium, galvanized steel, polyester fabric (Pirontex), PVC, spruce, larch and ash. With more than 400 employees and 13 subsidiaries including in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, France and Spain, the company founded in 1948 serves industries such as event equipment, gastronomy and advertising. For RUKU1952, the stability of the underframes was optimized through FE analyses and improved with patented C-profiles.

Every product undergoes strict quality control before delivery; products and materials are continuously tested by international testing institutes such as TÜV-SÜD and Efectis Nederland BV for safety, stability and sustainability.

Company History

1. 1948

   Franz Zingerle founds Zingerlemetal as a workshop in his parents' home in Natz-Schabs (machines for agricultural, household and environmental technology).

2. 1979

   Relocation to the Schabs industrial zone, site of 2,900 m², six employees.

3. 1984

   Georg and Martin Zingerle join the family business.

4. 1986

   Start of production of table and bench legs for beer tent furniture, later serial folding furniture sets.

5. 1992

   Death of the founder Franz Zingerle; his sons continue to run the company.

6. 1993

   First folding tent under the Mastertent brand.

7. 1995

   First foreign branch in Germany.

8. 1997

   Branch in Spain.

9. 2003-2014

   Establishment of sewing shop, printing works and wood shop in Transylvania (Romania).

10. 2005-2011

    Branches in France, Austria and Switzerland.

11. 2008

    400 kWp photovoltaic system at the company site in South Tyrol.

12. 2017

    Expansion with branches in the USA (Charlotte, NC), the Netherlands and Poland.

13. 2018

    Third generation (Stefan, Thomas, Sonja Zingerle) joins; Georg Zingerle takes over sole management as Zingerle AG.

14. 2023

    Brand overhaul: Ecotent as second folding tent brand, RUKU1952 as own brand for beer tent furniture, umbrella brand Zingerle Group.
